The picture above is from the website of Ellen Feiss’s new movie Bed and Breakfast. I’ve been getting alot of emails about this movie, and I’ll be posting more information tomorrow, I’m working on a speech tonight for class tomorrow.

And on a different subject next week I’m starting a contest/fundraiser, where the winner will receive, one MacBook or MacBook Pro configured to his/her specifications, Apple Protection Plan, 60gb Video iPod, and one $200 iTunes gift certificate.

Mac and Me

July 8th, 2006

I got the title for this post from the 1988 movie Mac and Me. Its a lesser known movie about a boy and an alien, not near as popular as the 1982 hit E.T. After thinking of this movie the other day, I started thinking it’d be a great idea for an ad campaign. It would kind of be like the switch ads, but instead of talking about switching the ads would be about each person, the type of Mac they have, and what they do with it. The ad campaign would be called “Mac and Me”.

Anyway back to the post, I’ve been a PC user for 10 years, and recently I bought a black MacBook. After about a month of using it, I sold my dad my pc, and gave my laptop to my roommate. I’ve haven’t been this satisfied with a product since 1986 when my father bought me and my sister a red Radio Flyer Wagon and I’d pull her around the block. I mean it’s simply amazing, since my purchase I’ve convinced a few of my friends into buying MacBook Pros, and I’m currently trying to convince my sister to get a Mac Mini.

I won’t go to far into detail as MacBook’s have been reviewed all over the web, but if I had to sum up my experience in one sentence, I would say that switching from a PC to a Mac is like walking into a grocery store on a hot day and all that commercial air-conditioning hitting you right in the face, it’s refreshing.

Better Late Than Never

July 8th, 2006

My apologies for the lack of posts. Lately I’ve been juggling graduating, moving to Dallas, 40 hours of work a week, and trying to pay off my student loans which will probably take an eternity. But I’m in the last month of college and will be graduating from Texas A&M University on August 11th. Posts should appear more frequently and I will be adding a few more things to the site. Thanks for hanging in there.

Free Stuff

Mac Mini

A few months ago I made a post about getting a free ipod, and mac mini, from a site called FreePay. A lot of people wrote sent me emails saying it wasn’t legit, but a few weeks after signing up and completing my offer, and getting referrals, I did in fact receive both my free ipod, and a mac mini. FreePay has recently included other items in their inventory such as: ipods, psps, mac minis, digital cameras, handbags, photo ipods, and the elusive xbox 360 premium system. If you’ve got some free time, and a few loyal friends, you could get alot of free stuff.

Ellen in France

January 11th, 2006

The other day I got an email from someone in France, who snapped a photo of himself and friends while in what looks to be a restaurant. When he showed the photo to one of his friends, he insisted that the girl in the background was none other than Ellen Feiss.

I couldn’t really tell, so I emailed Ellen, and while I didn’t show her the pictures she confirmed that she was indeed in France, and filming a small French movie called ‘Bed and Breakfast’, and that the stills for the film would be out soon. When I can find out more about this movie I’ll post it later, until then you can decided whether or not Ellen is the girl in the photos.
